I am a retired Police Inspector and an ex Scenes of Crime Officer; I attended a 10-week course with Durham Constabulary which where I received my photography training. Since retiring from the Police, I have turned my photography towards more pleasurable subjects with wildlife being my favourite even though it is the most challenging. I travel up and down the UK photographing anything with “fur and feathers”. My favourite animal being the otter and favourite birds being raptors. I have started to branch out with my photography with motorcycle racing being my second love. The buzz and smell of pit lane to the knee and elbow down action shots of the open track brings back the memories of when I used to ride on the road. Sadly, those days have long gone. My portfolio is always expanding, and as a result of requests from friends I now include landscapes, horses, pets and portraits in my portfolio.
I am a multi award winning photographer and I have a Licentiate distinction with both the Royal Photographic Society and the Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers.
